My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caramel Moonshine

Sweet Caramel Moonshine is a petite young kitty who wandered up to a foster's front porch in search of a happy indoor home. She's a quiet girl who is happy snuggled up in a soft bed or a cozy kitty cave. She isn't interested in toys nor wet food but she loves her crunchy food! She loves scritches (especially her head and chin) and tolerates being held (more so if you are constantly petting her)! She is content to be in your presence and would make a good movie or gaming companion! She doesn't seem to be a fan of other cats nor dogs. She's spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccinations including rabies.

More about this rescue

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
