My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet CeCe! Aka Cecilia.
CeCe is a purebred Siberian cat. She was purchased from a breeder at a young age roughly 8 years ago. Her owners loved her deeply for the entirety of those 8 years but due to life circumstances, they had to surrender CeCe.
CeCe previously lived in a house with a dog/dogs and always did well. In her current foster home she’s also met many many cats and never had an issue with one of them. In fact, if they’re willing to buddy up you’ll often find her laying or playing with a buddy.
In her free time, CeCe likes to curl up in a fluffy bed, climb a cat tower, look out windows, play with fake mice, and sit by/on her people! If you’re laying around CeCe is sure to accompany you and accept all the love you have to give her.
One adorable fact about CeCe is if she’s hiding somewhere in the house and you yell “CeCe” she’ll come running to you.
Overall CeCe is a really laid back, easy going girl. She doesn’t cause chaos, and very patiently waits for all her needs to be met. The only time she really gets eager is breakfast and dinner. She’s sure to greet you with many meows and zoom over to her food bowl. Wet food is a MUST for CeCe. She doesn’t prefer dry but will munch on it here and there. CeCe likes the shredded varieties of wet food such as tiki cat after dark, weruva, purina proplan, etc. These are awesome food choices, but applicants need to be aware that these food choices come at a higher price than a lot of other foods. Doing research in advance on maintenance of her diet is absolutely necessary. CeCe also needs to live in a decently low traffic 1500ish+ square foot home. CeCe was having litter box issues in her previous home. All medical concerns were addressed and ruled out, at this point her owners put her outside. She’s used to having a lot of space to have as hers as a result. AT SURRENDER the litter box issues were addressed. The litter boxes in the home were not being properly maintained, so they went with a litter robot. Then that wasn’t properly maintained. As a result, CeCe used the house as her litter box. Since being in her foster home (3-4 months) she has not had a single accident. CeCe currently has access to 4 uncovered xl litter boxes she shared with 2 other cats. These boxes are scooped at a minimum of once a day, and she has accepted all kinds of litters we get donated. This keeps CeCe very happy and she maintains litter box habits very well as a result. Applicants need to be aware this is a necessity for CeCe.
As a result of CeCe being an indoor outdoor cat, she did try to go out of the door for the first 1.5 months of her foster. Since learning the outside is not for her anymore, she just looks out the door but doesn’t try to go through. To be clear, if given the chance she probably would go out. An adopter would need to be cautious of this until CeCe acclimates into their home more.
As far as grooming goes, CeCe’s needs are pretty low. She does a great job maintaining herself at this stage in life. Of course as her age progresses she could need hair cuts to remove matting if brushing isn’t maintained. Right now she gets brushed once to twice a week for about 10 minutes each time and she’s perfectly fine!
CeCe is hypoallergenic. SHE STILL SHEDS!!! This just means her dander is extremely reduced compared to other cats and people with cat allergies (generally) are more tolerant of these breeds.
CeCe is also front declawed.
CeCe is up to date on her rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccine, spayed, bloodwork came back perfect, fully dewormed, and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV.
