Olive was a stray adopted after spending the first 6 months of her life outside. Formally indoor/outdoor, Olive has a lot of energy and loves to play (with strings, especially).
She isn't exactly a lap cat, she still maintains the energy of an adopted stray cat - though she's certainly calmed down a lot in the last 9 years. She is timid and cautious and is not afraid to swipe defensively, but she is not aggressive. She will avoid conflict with other animals, opting instead to hide.
I moved in with my partner 4 years ago and her 2 cats. Olive and those cats have never gotten along, to the point where we have to keep them completely separated. She has, on and off for this time, over-groomed and gone to the bathroom next to her litter box.
For this reason, I think the best-case scenario would be for her to be in a home with no other animals.
