My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxy came to Castoff Pet Rescue from the euthanasia list at Polk County. She was going to be euthanized solely because the shelter was out of space!

Roxy is a perfect little size at 30 pounds and has a precious face. She is working on potty and leash training but she is only about a year old so she is basically still a puppy. She is extremely sweet and loves to cuddle. She loves people and other dogs. She is fully vetted and ready to go!

She currently in a foster home with 3 other dogs and does great even with a very large Great Dane. She will be a perfect addition to any family willing to love and spoil this precious little girl!

More about this rescue

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
