My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tonka, a young, spirited pup with a heart full of love and a spirit full of play. He is a very handsome Husky/Shepherd mix and will grow to be a large size, around 60 pounds just like his mom. He's a friendly soul, always ready to make friends and share his toys. His playful nature is contagious, spreading joy to everyone around him. Despite his youthful energy, Tonka also knows when to mellow out. Born the biggest of his litter in a nursery, Tonka's size is matched only by his big heart. He's a lovable companion who's ready to bring warmth and laughter into any home. Adopting Tonka means bringing home a bundle of joy, a playmate, and a loyal friend. This friendly giant is ready to make your house his forever home. So why wait? Bring home Tonka today, and let his playful spirit and mellow heart fill your home with love and happiness. Tonka has not yet been neutered as he is too young, that surgery is included with his adoption. He is already microchipped and has been kept current on vaccines and monthly preventatives. You can email julianshumate@gmail.com with any questions or fill out an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application/julians. To ensure your application was received please email the foster home. You can expect an email response within a week of applying.
