My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jamie and Tyrion, a delightful bonded pair of kittens who are as sweet as they come! These little guys arrived at the shelter at just 4 weeks old, with no sign of their mom. Thankfully, a dedicated team of staff and volunteers stepped in to care for them, showering them with love and attention.

Jamie and Tyrion can be a bit shy at first-after all, the world can be a scary place for little ones! But once they warm up to you, they will fill your home with endless purring and affection. Their close bond brings them comfort, and it's clear they want to stay together for life.

Though they're currently thriving in their foster home, Jamie and Tyrion are still a bit young and will be ready for their forever home when they reach 8 weeks old. At that time, they will be seeking a foster-to-adopt home in the South Okanagan area while they await their neuter surgeries.

If you're looking for double the love and joy, Jamie and Tyrion are the perfect pair! Get ready to welcome these sweet boys into your heart and home.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:
