My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pumpkin, Candy Corn, and Casper - a sweet trio of guinea pigs looking for a forever home together!

This friendly trio came to us when their previous owner couldn't find pet friendly housing. They are all very social, and love their veggies! Pumpkin is a gorgeous peach coloured gal, who will delight you with her curious and outgoing nature. Casper is pure white and loves to dive into a fresh pile of hay and start munching. Candy Corn is a handsome orange and white neutered male, who is as friendly and outgoing as his sisters.

These three are inseparable and must be adopted as a bonded group. Guinea pigs need a spacious habitat, regular nail trims, and fresh water to stay happy and healthy. While they'll fill your home with joy, they also come with three times the mess-so be ready for extra cleanup! Could your home be their perfect match?

To begin the adoption process for our small animals, please fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire below. Be as detailed as possible, and keep in mind that an enclosure photo will be required after we receive your form submission.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
