My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These puppies were born in Rescue approximately 9 nine weeks ago.  Mr. Moose is such a love and the only male puppy in the litter weighing approx 6#. He loves to run around with his sisters, chase bugs, find a stray stick…everything is a toy. He wants to play with cats, kittens and other known dogs. He hasn’t been around children, but he would be great with respectful kids 10+.  Moose is neutered, chipped, and utd on his puppy vaccs but will need his third puppy vaccs if he’s adopted before 11/13. He is doing well with potty training but will definitely need continued positive support as he’s just a baby still.  Mom is a border terrier mix and Moose appears to have some Pug or Puggle with  a smooth coat  and his mother’s  shorter legs .   None of the puppies have conquered stairs yet; they are curious but no one is curious enough to be the first to go up or down.  They do enjoy a fenced yard but an apartment with an active family would work for them.  If you’re interested in meeting Moose, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Moose’s adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

More about this rescue

CO Corgis and Friends is a 501 c3 dog Rescue (specializing in Corgis and other lowrider breeds) that was formed in late 2019 by a group of Corgi loving people who not only love and understand the Corgi breed, but love all other dogs as well. The founding members have over 100+ years of experience owning Corgis and 50+ years in Rescue. It is our pleasure to help homeless dogs in need, help struggling owners rehome their pets, and offer advice on training issues typical of this herding breed. Please feel free to contact us to see if we can help!
Our mission is to help find Corgis and other breeds loving forever homes, share our knowledge of the Corgi breed through outreach and education, help reduce the pet population by promoting spay/neuter, and educating the community about responsible pet care and relationships.
