My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Chihuahua mix
Male, 5 years old (estimated), 7 pounds

This little shortstack of sweetness is definitely a crowd-pleaser and an overall well-rounded companion. Pancake is a fun-loving social butterfly who fits in just about anywhere. If it were up to him, the entire day would involve being carried around, sitting on laps, snuggling up tight, and staying close to his people. On leashed walks, he has quite the pep in his step, and at his foster home, he very much enjoys extended yard explorations. He is friendly with other small dogs and he is also very polite with cats. Pancake likes to come along on car rides, but is also content staying home alone for a bit, especially if other canine friends are around for company.

For added cuteness, Pancake is a huge flirt and will gaze deeply into your eyes. He moans and groans when rummaging around in his dog bed and will then bury himself neatly under a blanket. His happy place is peacefully snoozing with you under the covers all night long. For the upcoming holiday season, all he wishes for is a family who will shower him with affection and go out on little adventures now and then.

Little Pancake arrived at Hitchcock Road Animal Services as a stray. At the shelter, he was very shy and shut down, but since he has been in POMDR's care, he has turned into one happy-go-lucky pup.
