Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Looking for a big boy who's a calm, very sweet, a snuggle bunny, obedient and oh, so well behaved? Well, look no further because Charlie is the boy for you. This very handsome Labrador Retriever also has a "Golden Retriever heart" and is living the good life with his foster girlfriend, Olive, and goes to Brew Hound often during the week to meet new friends and enjoy doggie adventures. Part of that adventure is being able to ride in the car and watch the sites as they role by. Never one to bark needlessly or jump on people, Charlie is about the perfect boy for a family who would love an all-around amazing dog for their new best friend.
He does very well in the house, loves his girlfriend, Olive, enjoys snuggling and also laying in the yard, especially during this wonderful Autumn weather, to catch some rays. He is very well behaved,
He is one chill boy who is as gentle as a lamb, yet his size gives him the appearance of being a very active large boy. He has been enjoying life in his foster home with his friend Olive and enjoys the ride to Brew Hound where he can meet and greet some new friends, both two and four legged.
Charlie is a champ in the house with no counter surfing or chewing, is totally housebroken, crate trained but it's really not needed and a major cuddle bug. He minds very well, rides nicely in the car, just sitting and watching the traffic go by, he's gentle upon meeting people and calls just about everyone friend, two and four legged! He has been tested with cats and appears to be interested but not aggressive.
Charlies is about three years old, heartworm negative, neutered, current on all vaccinations, microchipped and wormed. He enjoys going for walks and is still learning how to pull less so is not a good choice for a senior person. His new home should be one with another like size dog for a companion, someone who is home much of the day, has a fenced yard, someone who can walk him daily and no children under 5.
If you would like this very handsome, gentle soul to be your new best friend, please go to www.greatrescue.org to complete an adoption application. Questions, call 904-703-8348 or our Rescue hotline at 904-501-6899. A boy this loving and sweet won't be available for very long so don't waste a minute.
