Meet Darla! She is a kind and sweet pup who is ready to take on the world! She is cuddly and active while also knowing just the right time to settle in. though she had a rough start to life she is brave and doesn't let her past hold her back! Darla is a fun loving goofy girl who hopes to spend her days going on hikes or sleeping the day away on the couch or anything in-between, she's ready for anything!

He/she is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Review application, set time for phone interview

Vet references and personal references verified, verify home ownership or rental and ability to adopt

Home Check

Virtual or in person

4.
Approve Application

Send out approval with information on canine, need to electronically sign. Adoption agreement. Review all aspects of the adoption agreeement

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption donation accepted, welcome letter emailed with educational information to welcome your new dog home. Transport arranged

6.
Take the Pet Home

Adopters receive all vetting documentation and a welcome home goodie bag for new fur friend

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
