My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Mouse is ready to be yours! This sweet girl had a rough go of it outside, and she is so relieved to now be safe indoors. Mouse was found lying on a bed of broken glass in front of an abandoned storefront. She was very dehydrated, ill, and covered in cuts and wounds, but even through all that, it was clear she was an absolute darling. After being nursed back to health by her foster parents, Mouse has revealed herself to be a simple lady with simple desires. All she wants is to sit with you while you work, to chill out with you while you watch TV, and to be near you while you sleep. She also loves to play and is very vocal!

Mouse seems to like other kitties, so she might do well in a home with another cat after being properly (slowly) introduced. We aren’t sure how she would feel about dogs or children.

Looking for a cuddle companion? Mouse is the gal for you, and she can’t wait to find her forever home!

Mouse is about 5 years old. She's spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and treated for fleas and parasites. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

If you're ready for this adorable lady, please welcome Mouse into your heart and home! Fill out our adoption application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you mention Mouse, and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form!

Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
