We've decided it's best to rehome Gilly. As much as we love him, our home is no longer the best environment for him, especially with our toddler becoming more mobile. Gilly has shown some territorial behavior around his food, and while he's generally a sweet dog, this has made us realize that he would do better in a home where he can have his own space and not worry about a toddler around his food.
Gilly is five years old, and we got him from Aggieland Humane Society in Bryan.
He's shown that he's great with older kids, we would say around 5 and up. His disposition is usually calm, and he likes to spend time either inside sleeping or playing outside most of the day. He also enjoys cuddling with people on occasion! He is good with other dogs, but with his food obsession, it might be best to have his food separate and within his crate, like we've trained him so far. He also sleeps in his crate at night.
We want to find a home where Gilly will be comfortable and well cared for!
