My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ethel is a sweet and social 7 month old spayed female Silver Fox rabbit who is looking for love! This big soft girl is outgoing and fun, while she doesn't always enjoy being picked up and carried, she will come when she is called and would love nothing more than to sit on your lap for a good cuddle. Ethel likes to play with toys and loves to eat her fruits and veggies! This sweet young rabbit has lived in a home with both dogs and cats and does not seem to be bothered by other animals. Ethel is all ready to go home now, don't miss your chance to meet her!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
