Meet 11-month-old Bandit! This extremely outgoing and lovable boy is searching for his forever home! Bandit's early life was not such a nice one. He was found zipped in a backpack in south Florida and left by a dumpster with demodex. Now that he is happy, healthy and oh so lovable, he is ready to spread his wings. Bandit is sure to make anyone (adult or child) laugh and smile with his little antics. He is great with every dog he meets and loves car rides too! Bandit also loves playing fetch and in his down time, you can find him fast asleep with a tennis ball in his mouth. With his sweet and silly nature, we do recommend a home with older children just because of his playfulness, he has the ability to knock a small child over.

Our adoption requirements are as follows:

We encourage that all members of the family come and visit with the animal (especially children). We do not adopt pets as gifts.

Homes that currently own one or more dogs and are looking for another will have to complete a dog meeting to ascertain compatibility.

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
