Tess is available for adoption.

She is 7 years old and weighs 13 pounds.

Her adoption fee is $500.00.

Tess is a Yorkie about 7 years old. She is spayed, microchipped and recently had teeth extracted. Tess was found as a stray near Manahawkin, NJ. She was groomed and groomer said she was very well behaved and she was also great at the vet. She enjoys walks, car rides and playing with her toys, also running around in the fenced yard.
She is adjusting nicely and is the sweetest dog. She has good potty manners, which leads me to believe she wasn’t a stray too long. She knows some simple commands such as sit, stay and get down. Tess is eating well. Tess wants to be with her person and loves to be next to you or on your lap, she will do best as an only dog in her forever home. She really is a doll!

Tess is staying with Mary, Charlie and Nibbles in Somerdale, NJ.

Additional adoption info

1. Fill out an adoption application on our website.
2. We contact the adopter for an interview.
3. We REQUIRE a home visit.
4. Our adoption donation is usually $250 to $500 for a dog but may be more if the dog is very young.
5. There is a legal contract that must be signed. The Yorkie can never be sold, given away or dropped at a shelter. We ALWAYS want our Yorkie back.

We are Yorkshire Terrier rescue. We help people find the Yorkie they have been looking for and we help the people who have a Yorkie they cannot keep. We work in PA, NJ, WESTERN NY, DE, MD and sometimes other states as necessary. Yorkies are our passion - the big ones, the old ones, the sick ones. The Yorkies no one else will take. We vet them and find loving homes.
