My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hiya! I'm Integra, the beautiful shorthair tabby girl with the soft brown stripes and amber eyes. At 7 months-old I'm finding my friendly, playful personality. I was born a barn kitty in Kansas, where some truly caring people watched over me and eventually brought me to Wild Blue for a chance at the house cat life. I was really nervous at first and I still have some shyness to work through, but I've decided that being with people is best. You need to approach me slowly but it doesn't take long for my sweet nature to shine through. I have a motor loud purr which I'm happy to share anytime someone gives me pets or even talks to me softly. I don't mind being held and carried as long as you don't flip me on my back. My favorite thing is when humans play with me. The laser pointer, but especially the wand toy with a buggy end, get my tabby engine revving. Like my mau ancestors I am agile and energetic, flipping through the air. I love climbing up to my cat shelf for a rest, but I won't say no to a warm sunspot either. I'm getting used to noises and big movements, so a home without dogs, young children, or lots of people is preferred. I do love gentle older kids, adults and cats. I would love to be adopted with one of my siblings Ibrahim, Insight or Interstellar. My curiosity does get me into pickles sometimes, so I need a family that will watch for open doors, cupboards and closets to keep me safe. I'm a smart cookie being the first of my litter to master the food puzzles and toys in my foster home. I am great with the litter box and scratchers. I'm nervous, but capable of carrier rides and careful claw trimming. Wild Blue has taken care of my spay surgery, early vaccines and negative FELV test. I still have some things to learn about living with humans, so I need a family that is committed to patiently working at my pace. Promise it's worth the effort as I'm an absolutely doll. Please fill out an application and schedule a visit with me soon.November 6, 2024, 8:14 pm
