My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Meet Kernel, an adorable orange kitten with a heart as big as his purrs. Rescued by a kind-hearted Samaritan who found him stranded in the middle of the road during a rainstorm, Kernel has already been through more than most kittens his age. Despite an eye injury from his past, this little warrior isn’t slowed down one bit—his unique eye only adds to his cool charm! Kernel is a gentle soul and an expert biscuit-maker who absolutely adores other cats, especially his best friend and bonded companion, Fancy. They’re inseparable and bring each other comfort and companionship, making them the perfect pair for a home with other kitties. Together, they’re sweet, loving, and will make a delightful addition to any family. Kernel is neutered, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FelV, and fully litterbox trained. His birthday is March 24, 2024. Give this little survivor and his best friend Fancy the loving home they deserve!
