My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***MUST REMAIN AN INDOOR CAT***
***Local Adoptions Only at this Time***

: "Hi there, I'm Lilly! I used to live a quiet life, until the day I discovered my superpower: the power of love. I remember, I was playing with my favorite toy when it got stuck high up. I concentrated, wishing it to come down, and it did! I realized I could move things with my mind! But, I decided to use my powers only for good. One day, a big dog was causing trouble. I focused my energy, and calmed him down. That's when the shelter staff found me. They were amazed by my abilities. I've been here since, using my powers to spread love and peace. Now, I'm looking for a family to share my love with. I promise, with me, you'll never feel alone. I'll be your loyal friend, always there to cuddle when you're sad, and to celebrate when you're happy. Adopt me, and let's make our own superhero team!"

Lilly's date of birth is 8/4/2024.

We are offering a special right now where you can adopt any 2 felines and pay only one adoption fee of $95!!

***Available for Pre-Adoption Only at This Time***

Pre-adoption is for kittens who have not yet finished all of their kitten vaccines or been spayed/neutered. They can be adopted now and go to their new homes. However, the new owner will have to take the kitten to our vet in Somerville for the remaining vet visits. Therefore, they can only be adopted locally. (FCAR will cover the costs of those visits.)

If your house is missing a sweet and playful kitty, please submit an adoption application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/ready-to-adopt where you can also review FCAR’s adoption requirements.

All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee (local adoptions only.) The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. A home inspection is required prior to all cat adoptions.

All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. This fee includes:

• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian
• Up to date on all vaccinations
• Spayed/Neutered
• Microchipped
• 30-day pet health guarantee for local adoptions only (*Must follow process provided at time of adoption.)
• 30-day money back guarantee

Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:

• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention)
• If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3-month heartworm/flea/tick prevention
• If renting, verification with landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc.
• Meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibility

Note: We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s).
