My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia: The Delightful Companion

Discover Mia, of the dynamic duo Max and Mia!
Mia is the queen of cozy companionship. With her sweet and easygoing nature. Mia loves nothing more than curling up next to you, gracing your presence with quiet devotion and a rumbling purr machine. Mia loves sitting close, her side warmed against yours, basking in tranquility and offering lighthearted energy to anyone lucky enough to share the couch.

Mia has a past that makes her even more endearing. Adopted as kittens along with her brother Max, she was given a loving home. Unfortunately, their previous owner had to return them due to unforeseen circumstances and wasn't allowed pets in their rented apartment. Despite this setback, Mia is gentle trusting, and settles right into a new home.

She gets along beautifully with kids and anyone who can appreciate a breezy afternoon of relaxation. Her delightful nature ensures she's as meticulous with the litter box as she is with her adoring gazes. Preferably ruling as the sole queen of her domain, Mia is prepared to fill her kingdom with love, fostering relationships that make every day a little sweeter. If it's companionship and serene moments you seek, Mia is joy personified in feline form, eagerly ready to become your purring heart's delight.

And here's the best part-they're kid-approved! Max and Mia absolutely adore playing with children. They're gentle and patient, making them the perfect companions for kids of all ages. Whether it's playtime with toys or cuddle sessions, they're always ready for fun!

Max and Mia are looking for a forever home where they can reign as the sole furry royalty-no other pets, just undivided adoration from their humans. We're anxiously awaiting our next big move into a forever home where we can be showered with love and attention. If you're looking for a pair of affectionate and playful companions, we're here, ready to fill your home with joy!

More about this rescue

At Oakbrook Cat Rescue, we are a dedicated team of passionate volunteers united by our love for cats. As a no-kill rescue group, we provide a safe haven for both kittens and adult cats, ensuring they thrive in loving foster homes instead of cages. Our mission is to shower every feline in our care with compassion while offering essential services such as spaying, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and conducting FIV/FeLV combo tests.

We believe that every cat, whether a playful kitten or a wise old soul, deserves a second chance at happiness. In addition to caring for our adoptable cats, we support our community by assisting with the needs of feral and community cats whenever we can, helping to provide care and resources for local colonies.

From the most affectionate to the shyest, Oakbrook Cat Rescue is devoted to finding each of them a forever home filled with love. Together, we strive to make a difference—one paw at a time.
