Meet the Pet
This helps The Rescue Crew with pet care costs.
Hi, I'm Woody, a young German Shepherd mix pup. I'm 5 months old and about 25 lbs. I am inquisitive and clever, but most importantly, I'm a very friendly boy to people, kids, and dogs! I haven't met a cat yet, but I'm probably friendly to them too.
My favorite thing is being involved in whatever my humans are doing, and my second favorite is chasing squeak toys in the yard. I love burning off my puppy energy by chasing squeak toys. I have medium energy and do well on a leash and car rides. After our adventures, I’d love to sleep on your feet.
I’ve already learned to sit and I'm working on shake. I'm quite interested in doing tricks for treats! When I get really excited, I'll balance and do a 360! I quiet down in my crate after 15 minutes, but I'd be a good boy without the crate too. My potty training is going well too, I'm 90% the way there.
Nighttime is easy for me—I sleep through the night with no problems either in my crate or next to your bed.
All of the above has made me a foster home favorite!
When you're ready to meet me, remember, You’ve Got a Friend in Me!
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.
All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.
