My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Turnip is a delightful little lady from the Veggie Patch litter, and she's ready to grow her roots in her forever home! This petite powerhouse is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, including her RCP series. She's also combo tested for FIV and FELV, flea treated, and dewormed.

Turnip loves to play it coy, but don't be fooled! When it comes to wrestling, she can hold her own against the best of them. This charming girl is a total lap cat - she adores pets and cuddles and will happily wait for you to scratch her head until you're ready to snuggle up for a cozy nap together.

Having spent time around other kittens and a big cat, Turnip is well-socialized and gets along wonderfully with her furry friends. Her playful spirit and loving nature make her an ideal companion.

More about this rescue

At Oakbrook Cat Rescue, we are a dedicated team of passionate volunteers united by our love for cats. As a no-kill rescue group, we provide a safe haven for both kittens and adult cats, ensuring they thrive in loving foster homes instead of cages. Our mission is to shower every feline in our care with compassion while offering essential services such as spaying, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and conducting FIV/FeLV combo tests.

We believe that every cat, whether a playful kitten or a wise old soul, deserves a second chance at happiness. In addition to caring for our adoptable cats, we support our community by assisting with the needs of feral and community cats whenever we can, helping to provide care and resources for local colonies.

From the most affectionate to the shyest, Oakbrook Cat Rescue is devoted to finding each of them a forever home filled with love. Together, we strive to make a difference—one paw at a time.
