Iggy is a stunning, sleek, smoky gray kitty with fur as soft as velvet and a majestic white star on his chest. He and his brother, Yoshi were from a TNR project but quickly let us know they wanted the good life indoors so they sport the jaunty ear tip of a community cat but are experts in giving all the love and snuggles of a house cat in training. Iggy lives to play, he will play all day if you have the time and energy! He is an accomplished hunter and uses his amazing athleticism to leap in the air and catch his toy prey, dragging it off to his lair.
Iggy is a little cautious at first around humans he doesn’t know yet, but once he knows he can trust you (because you have learned that Churu meat tubes, tons of play time and kitty treats are the way to his heart), he will show you how much he loves pets and scritches and will patiently wait for you to let the fun begin, staring right at you with his soul searching eyes until you get the message! Iggy loves to watch the birds at the bird feeder, sitting in sun patches and climbing the tall cat tower. He is a strong, athletic kitty and would do well with older, gentle children who can respect his boundaries, and a patient, cat savvy adopter who has the time and patience to build a trusting relationship with him.
Iggy would love to be adopted with his brother Yoshi , to whom he is bonded, but would also do well with a playful older cat to show him the ropes in his new home. Iggy will need a kitten proofed “base camp” and some hiding spots at first until he feels confident enough to have the run of the house. Dogs are untested. Iggy’s estimated date of birth is mid-April, 2024. Kitty Bio #980EP-Ig.
