This helps Town and Country Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Miss Kitty is an 8-year-old beauty who came to us when her human had a change in living status. We are working on building her trust She has taken up residence in our kitchen and is usually found on top of the fridge or in a cabinet. This silly girl is looking for a patient home that is willing to work with her at her pace. The shelter isn't a good fit for her. Her person said she was slow to warm up, but after 6 months in the shelter she is still giving the cold shoulder. Her box of choice is very accurate. Brat instead of Brats!
The majority of Miss Kitty's adoption fee has been sponsored! Her current adoption fee is $25 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.
Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.
We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.
Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!
***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
