Dog's Name: Oakley (OAK0924LEXMD)
Estimated Breed: Beagle / Basset Hound MIX
Approximate Age: 11 months
Approximate Weight: 30 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: This sweet and friendly boy is guaranteed to steal your heart. Oakley is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. His medium size makes him a perfect fit for almost any home, though he is a bit too much for kids under 10. Oakley is still a big puppy at heart and is working on mastering his manners. His excitement can sometimes lead to playful bouncing and mouthiness, but his love for toys and carrying things in his mouth is a helpful outlet for his puppy energy. What Oakley truly needs is a loving home with someone dedicated to guiding him through training so he can blossom into the best boy ever. One meeting with Oakley, and you'll see why he's so irresistible—he’s ready to be your loyal and lively companion!
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
