My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org

We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.  Some of our kitties can be seen at our PetSmart partner store in Gig Harbor and it will be noted on their profile if they are at this public location.

Minnie is the sweetest little girl who started out life in a ruff situation.  With a cat hoarder.  So many cats there.  Someone working nearby saw a few kittens, hungry and in poor shape.  The person released 3 of them to him and Minnie was one.  They were so full of fleas that she scratched her fur off.  It will take a while to fully fill in but is well on it's way now.  She's otherwise very healthy and ready for someone who will take great care of her and love her forever!  Is that you?

Prior to adoption, as a minimum,  our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated age appropriate (will need additional vaccines in some cases), parasite treated/prevented and micro-chipped.

More about this rescue

We are a compassionate group of volunteers that rescue dogs mostly from shelters when their time is up or when they are at capacity and will have to euthanize adoptable pets. We get many different breeds both pure bred and mixes, from very tiny to very large.
We believe every adoptable animals should have a 2nd chance at a great life. We seek commited, equally passionate adopters to provide a wonderful, loving home to our dogs!
We also believe spaying & neutering is the answer to the homeless animal population along with education.
