My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wicket is a sweet and fun loving rabbit who came to Murci's Mission from our partners at SCRAPS. He has an estimated birthdate of 10/14/2023.

Wicket is learning about household life and getting used to splitting time between his hutch, the house, and the yard. He has excellent litterbox skills. He would be able to cohabitate with other gentle animals and children.

Wicket comes neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $50. To be considered to adopt, please begin by sending in an application at www.murcismission.org.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
