My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winx is a young female chihuahua pug mix. She is current on vaccines, microchipped and spayed.

Winx was born April 2024. She is still a puppy and has the energy of one. She will need a family to help her with potty, kennel and leash training.

Winx gets along with all sized dogs and humans. She loves to give kisses and flinging toys into the air to catch them is her favorite activity. We are unsure how she will do with cats.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
