My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet adoptable Boris!

 AGE: 2½ years

GENDER: Male.

BREED: Shepherd mix.

WEIGHT: Approx 35 lbs.

HEIGHT: Approx 21” to shoulder.

PERSONALITY: Boris is a happy, confident, social dog. His fosters describe him as a “dream dog” because of his friendly personality and tender, loving temperament. He is extremely affectionate, loves to give and receive cuddles, and adores his humans to pieces.

ENERGY LEVEL: Medium. Boris is a wonderful outdoor companion because he very much enjoys walks, adventures, and exploring his surroundings. He’s a playful guy who will happily join in all of his family’s activities. However he is not super high energy and doesn’t demand tons of exercise.

GOOD ON LEASH: Yes, Boris is totally comfortable walking on leash.

GOOD IN CAR: Yes.

CRATE TRAINED: Yes.

HOUSE TRAINED: Yes. He knows exactly where to do his business at his foster home. Boris is very intelligent and picks up training quickly.

BARKING LEVEL: Low-Average.

DOG FRIENDLY: Yes! Boris gets along wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes. He has many doggie siblings at his foster home and loves to play with them.

CAT FRIENDLY: Not good with cats. Must be a no cat home.

KID FRIENDLY: Yes! Boris lives with kids at his foster home and he’s absolutely lovely with them.

RESOURCE GUARDING: No.

ANY AGGRESSION: None.

RESCUE HISTORY: Boris was a homeless boy on the streets of Chapala, Mexico. He was hit by a car when crossing a busy road and required surgery on his front leg. His recovery was remarkable and he has no lasting effects from his injury. Boris has since been living with a foster family in Guadalajara, getting lots of love, companionship, and socialization.

VETTING:

 Fully vaccinated.

 Neutered.

 Dewormed.

SNAP 4Dx negative (Heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma).

 Distemper negative.

 Flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Surgery on front leg in 2023.

**PLEASE NOTE: Boris is currently in Mexico. There will be a $235 fee for transportation to BC. This will be discussed upon approval.**
