Doodlebug here again.
While everyone is getting ready for the holidays and beginning to plan their Thanksgiving dinner, I’ve been wishing someone would finally think I’m pretty special. It’s weird because every single one of the volunteers LOVE me. They call me America’s Sweetheart. They love me so much, here’s what some of them say about me:
I LOVE going to spend time with Doodle each shift. He is so loving and snuggles right up for some quiet time at the end of shift.
Don’t be fooled by my serious look, I am a lover at heart.
OMG I LOVE this boy. And his forehead wrinkles are just so adorable. Did I tell you I LOVE this boy!
Doodle is a sweet handsome boy. With a heart full of energy, Doodlebug loves to play and explore, but he also cherishes those quiet moments cuddled up next to you. His gentle spirit and joyful demeanor make him a perfect addition to any family. No one deserves a loving home more than he does.
Doodle is loyal, smart, loving, and would be anyone’s best friend. I adore him!

Why is Doodle still waiting for his people? This guy is perfect in every way.
Doodle has been to a few outside events. There was a lot of commotion and there were many dogs. By far, Doodle was the most relaxed and calm one out of every dog there. Doodle is a great dog. He has so much to offer. He is full of love and joy. Nothing seems to faze him. He has had female roomies, and they get along very well. He walks well on a leash and is gentle when he takes treats. Doodle is perfect.
He is my everything! Doodle is the coolest, sweetest and most lovable boy there is!
Doodle has been to very crowded, chaotic events and I can honestly say, he was the best of all the dogs from all the rescues.
Great personality and loves people… just a very cool all-around dude.
As you can see, I have a huge fan club.
I have been waiting for my family to come adopt me for a while now. I know being patient will be worth the wait. I love my volunteer family here, but I really want my own family and home. Secretly, I cry myself to sleep every night asking why I haven’t been the sparkle in anyone’s eyes yet! I have watched countless dogs go home with their families while I just sit here with my sad puppy dog eyes. If someone just gives me a chance, and comes to meet me, I know they will love me. I am very handsome and tender-hearted. I am a sweet, snuggly boy who loves to play, chase a ball, and have fun. I am very affectionate and love belly rubs and snuggling. One more thing, during my photo session, my manager said, “Give me your serious face for next month’s Modern Dog magazine cover.” I may look serious for my modeling career, but when we meet, it will be love at first sight. I am a 2.5-year-old Hound mix, and I already have my bags packed waiting for your arrival. And for the record, I am a no-cat kinda dude.
