My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Dannie (named after Dannie Davito) walked into the RV shop where I work, with her sister. Both were very skinny and dirty :( They smelled like a dumpster as if they've been scrounging for food. How they made it there alive I'll never know because my work is on a very busy access road and surround by highway." Our FOSTER Mom tells our story on the day we RESCUED HER!!!! She NEEDED US :)

More lovely talk from my foster mom, "Right off the bat, Dannie was a sweetheart. She's about 3 months old, maybe 12 lbs, small mixed breed with maybe chihuahua and shepherd?
I've learned that she can sit for treats or food.
She does good in the crate but still trying to work on potty training and nibbling on hands. She's a little nervous on car rides but does well. She'll normally just lay down.
Dannie isn't a fan of being picked up and will sometimes run or cower. She loves to give kisses and absolutely loves playtime with her sister. She can play a little rough but also can be dramatic when she gets overwhelmed and become very vocal." WELL, who WOULDN'T BE DRAMATIC??? But I digress......

"Dannie does love her food and treats so she can be a bit sassy when her sister or the cats get too close. Once she's had enough playtime, since she's a pretty energetic puppy, she's ready to snuggle near you and receive belly scratches. She really does love every dog she sees though, and she likes the cats but still learning how to play with them. She's good with all people so far."
So as you can see, I am DA BOMB.COM and am READY FOR MY DA BOMB.COM FAMILY :):)

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required. Adoption fees with transport included start at $400 higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home.

We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
