My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I’m Minnie and my name is perfect for me. I’m not very big (mini!) and even though I’m about 1 year old, you might mistake me for a kitten. I’m a sweet girl and I did have kittens of my own who are now in foster homes while they grow up. My face is almost half white/half black and I have a tiny drop of white at the end of my black tail. “Tuxedo” is the common term for my color pattern, but since I’m a girl, is the look called a tux-she-do?

I really enjoy being petted down my back and when you get near my tail, I do “elevator butt” like so many other cats. However, my special trick is that every now and then, I fall down into kind of a somersault. I get so excited that I flop over! Call me quirky, but it’s also very cute, too.

I’m a demure kitty and would do best in a quieter household. I met a little girl once, and she was a bit too energetic for me. I hid where I could watch her play with the other cats in my foster home. I’m not ruling out living with kids, though they would need to be calm kids, and I would need some time to adjust. Same with other cats, I can get overwhelmed when they want to play rough. I’ve seen my foster family’s dogs and heard them barking and I don’t seem concerned about that.

I often behave like a mama’s girl, which adds to my charms. I will swish my tail against my foster mom’s legs and dance around her feet when she’s saying kind things about me. I’m ready to start my next chapter with a new friend or family, and I hope to hear more sweet sentiments in my forever home. Your voice will be mew-sic to my ears, I can’t wait!
