My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.

I'll need daily interaction with you as I get used to my new life.

It could be with you! Click here to learn more about the adoption process!

A volunteer writes: I'm in one of the cat rooms at the Manhattan Care Center, and I see a tiny tabby head peeking out my way. It's Carabiner, who I approach very softly, because I know this young guy with the beautiful bengal markings came to us scared and skittish. But Carabiner seems to want to be friends--coming to the front of his cat condo to sniff my hands and show off his soccer skills with his toy balls. As we spend time together, his demeanor relaxes, and he presses himself against his condo door to be as physical close as possible. Carabiner came to us all by his lonesome, so we don't know what his previous home was like. But I get the sense he was socialized and loved...and he wants to give and receive that kind of love again. Meet Carabiner at the Care Center today!
