Samantha is a beautiful yellow lab mix. She's a great cuddle Bug but will outgrow your lap. Her feet are the evidence She's currently 18 lbs but will probably be in the 50 lb range.
She's great with all sizes of dogs, but hasn't gotten to meet any kitty friends or young humans but my sweet temperament leads my foster mom that I will pass the young human test hands down!! Not sure about kitties though.
She also does magic! When you put her in a pen she can disappear right out of it At just 2 months she can scale a 4 foot fence so will need a privacy fence to contain her. No chain link will keep this girl corralled!!
She loves to be up high and spends some of her play time jumping up & down from the picnic table. For now her pen has a roof.
She was saved from the streets with 2 siblings and her Mama so I imaged she learned her magic there.
She sits like a champ and is doing very good going out the doggie door to potty. She's a bit skinny but working on getting up to her ideal weight but sometimes need some encouragement to eat.
Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
