My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Trippin Hazard, or simply Trip! He’s a little guy who lives up to his name by walking right by your feet, always staying close to his favorite humans. Trip came to the shelter as a stray, and while he takes a few minutes to trust, once you’ve earned it, he’s all yours—especially if you’ve got a lap he can snuggle on!

When he’s not napping or singing the "song of his people," Trip loves being your loyal shadow. He does have a collapsed trachea, a common condition in small dogs, so he’ll need to be walked with a harness to keep him comfortable. Trip still needs to be tested with other dogs and would prefer a home without cats. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who’s always by your side, Trip is ready to join you on life’s adventures! If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: acskc.org/adoption/adoption-application

Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply!
