My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bagel, a young, energetic, and playful dog who`s full of life. He`s got an independent spirit that`s as endearing as it is inspiring. Bagel is the type of dog who will turn a lazy afternoon into an exciting adventure with his playful antics. His energy is contagious, spreading joy to everyone around him. But Bagel also values his independence, enjoying time to explore and satisfy his curiosity. Despite his youthful energy, he`s smart and quick to learn new tricks. Bagel is looking for a loving home where he can share his playful energy and independent spirit. Adopting Bagel means gaining a loyal friend who will fill your life with joy, laughter, and unconditional love.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
