My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leo is a sweet Maine Coon mix, around 10 years old, with loving eyes and long. beautiful fur that he meticulously grooms. He has Maine Coon traits including a full ruff (mane), as well as big, fluffy paws that make him impossible not to adore! He is brown with black markings.

Leo is dog-like in personality, is talkative and will follow you around wanting love, scratches, attention and cuddles. He is mellow, an expert cuddler and a love bug.

Leo’s foster thinks he would be okay in a home with other non-aggressive cats, although this is not confirmed. It’s unknown how he would do with dogs, but he is a calm kitty — so with patience and a tame dog, this may work out okay. Leo would do great in a home with children who are respectful and won’t pull on his beautiful fur. He’s truly a sweetheart who is ready for his furever home!

Leo was born in approximately October 2014. He has been neutered and microchipped, and will be up to date on his shots prior to adoption.

More about this rescue

Angus & Friends is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit in California. Angus was an approximately 15 y.o. orange tabby found on death's door by people who lived in his neighborhood who assumed he had a home. He didn't, but probably did at one time, because he turned out to be friendly, though very sick. We tried to save him, but he ultimately had to be put down because he was not recovering after a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and kittens as possible to get off the mean streets and find a furrever home.
