Buttercup, born 10/2022 (best estimate) came into the rescue after giving birth to 4 beautiful kittens on the front porch of a kind person. That person cared for her until our rescue was able to take her in. All her babies were adopted and she took on mothering duties for 3 more kittens rescued from a hoarding situation. They’re now ready to move on to their forever homes and it is Buttercup’s turn to find her forever family.
She is barely a year old, timid and cautious around new people/new situations (she was living in the streets), but she is very sweet once she gets used to her people and surroundings. She is missing one of her rear feet, but has been to the vet and examined. Per the vet it is a congenital issue and there is no issue with it. It hasn’t slowed her down so far! She was named Buttercup because she has a beautiful and unusual silky long haired coat that is a blended marble blond and fawn color, and she is very feminine and dainty. Buttercup has been around dogs, ferrets, and other cats and, after a proper introduction, has done well. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $140
