Onyx is an pretty pup who is looking for a new home. She came from Louisiana and is currently in a New Jersey foster home.

Onyx is a beautiful girl - she weighed 8 lbs at about 4 months old (which means she shouldn't weigh more than 16-20 lbs full grown). She has hints of brown in her coat, and even between some of her toes.

Onyx is a very sweet girl who loves children. She likes to sit in their laps and be petted. She's a big cuddler with adults as well, and happily sleeps in bed with her foster parents and doggie siblings. Onyx wants LOTS of attention and love!

Onyx can be a little skittish and shy at first, but she is getting braver every day. She enjoys throwing toys around in the air and chasing them, and loves marrow bones.

Onyx can be a little timid with bigger dogs, but she's getting braver about that, too. She is enjoying neighborhood walks.

Onyx is not yet housetrained, but we're working on it! She does not like being in a crate at all, and we're working on that, too!

We've been told that she's good with cats.

Onyx is spayed and microchipped and is up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. Her adoption fee is $550.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
