My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Everyone! My name is Wednesday. I am sweet and cuddly and my Mom calls me her little shadow because I like to follow her around and investigate. I was a bit shy and cautious of new surroundings at first, but it didn’t take me long to warm up. My fur foster sister is one of my favorite playmates besides my sisters, and we play tug of war, keep away, and wrestle around. I am also content to lay on the couch and watch them play or play alone in the xpen. I enjoy cuddling up next to my Mom when I'm having a nap. I have learned to sit nicely for treats instead of jumping up and once I get that down to perfection, we will move on to learning a bunch more commands, which I am excited about. I have also learned what a kennel is and have done very well when my Mom goes to work and have not had any accidents. It takes me a bit to settle down at night and when she puts me in there during the day, but once I do, I am good. I have had very few accidents in the house, and I am headed in the right direction to become fully housetrained. Mom says I just need to learn to let her know when I need to go outside instead of relying on my foster siblings. She is sure I will figure that out soon enough cause I am one smart pup! If you are looking for a fun-loving fur baby who will be loyal and your best friend, I am your gal! I can't wait to meet my new family and make lots of great memories!
Love, Wednesday

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption application process , which includes a home visit, help us to ensure we find wonderful, permanent loving and caring families for each one of our dogs. We feel that honesty is the best policy when it comes to finding homes for our dogs; we want to avoid any unfortunate surprises after you bring your new friend home. After all, we are looking for a BEDR life for our dogs! There is an online adoption application that must be filled completed before a home visit will be set up. The application can be found on our website,

More about this rescue

PLEASE USE APPLICATION LINK ABOVE, NOT EMAIL!

We are a registered charitable NO KILL Rescue, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the over-population of pets by making sure each and every puppy*, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. (*Note: sterilization of puppies is the owner's responsibility and proof of sterilization must be shown at 6 months of age.)
