My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Sadie! 🌸
Sadie is a beautiful 5-year-old pup who's been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly two years. She came to the shelter as a stray completely emaciated and neglected. It typically takes a dog in that condition a while to trust again, but has been winning the hearts of our volunteer team with her sweet nature. 💕
Sadie absolutely loves people and is always ready to make new friends! 🥰 While she's not too interested in toys, she's all about cuddles and companionship. Sadie also has potential with male dogs, making her a great match for the right home. 🐶
We are open daily from 12p-4:30p for adoptions! Call, email, or come on by to meet Sadie! 💌 tintonfallsahs@ahsppz.org // ☎️ 732*922*0100 // 📍 2960 Shafto Rd, Tinton Falls, NJ

More about this shelter

The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.

For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.

The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.

Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
