My story

Introducing TINA…. DOB est 8/14/23, female, spayed vaccinated, microchipped…

TINA and her newborn kittens joined a foster home in our rescue, after being pulled from Huntsville Animal Services where she'd been turned in. TINA and her 3 kittens (Sydney, Richie and Jeff) joined lone kitten, Carmy, who had tragically lost his mother and needed a mother and siblings. TINA and her kittens fit the bill perfectly! TINA didn't hesitate to take on Carmy and care for him as one of her own. She did a wonderful job with him - with them all - and now it's time for her to find her forever home where SHE can be the baby!

TINA is a very sweet, friendly, playful and talkative girl. She is tiny at just over 6 1/2 pounds, but is loaded with personality. (She is very small-framed, so it's likely she'll stay small.) She's got opinions and isn't afraid to share them. She tends to be more talkative in new situations and quieter once she's more comfortable, but if she wants something she is more than happy to let you know about it. She's super playful, enjoys jumping and running and chasing ping pong balls. She loves to bat spring toys around and she looooves catnip toys. She likes to be picked up and held on your shoulder and petted, she likes to sit next to you or in your lap and be petted, and... well, she just likes to be petted! She enjoys watching birds out the window, sitting in the sun, and keeping you company. She would be okay as an only cat, or - if introduced properly and very slowly - would likely be fine joining a home with another cat or cats.

More about this rescue

Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/spaying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory...these animals are housed in foster homes until permanent loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption here on Petfinder and also at Petsmart in Jones Valley, Huntsville, AL. We also provide help to people who are elderly, disable, financially challenged and those who love their animals but cannot provide them with the necessary care.

Our Mission...

(1) Control feral cat populations through neutering/spaying
(2) Educate the public about about proper pet care and responsibility, especially neutering/spaying and advising about pet behavior and medical issues that often result in families giving up their pets
(3) Humanely remove and relocate ferals when possible
(4) Adopt out loving, grateful animals into permanent forever homes
(5) Raise necessary funds to build a shelter for rescued cats
