This sweet senior girl is made of nothing but happiness and love. She might not be setting any speed records around the shelter, but that doesn’t stop her tail from wagging so fast it looks like she’s about to take flight! With her little springy steps and that wise, grey-muzzled grin, Netta is always ready to share her happiness with everyone she meets.
Fair warning: if you get down to her level, prepare for a full-on kiss attack! Netta’s snuggles are legendary and her affectionate nature will make your day instantly. ? When you speak to Netta in a kind voice, you know she understands you as she looks up at you with a tilt of her head and an infectious grin!

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.

The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
