Meet Pebbles – A Gentle, Timid Soul in Search of a Patient, Loving Home
Pebbles is a 6-year-old, 14-pound Chihuahua mix with a shy, reserved personality. Though a bit timid, she’s shown she can warm up with time, patience, and gentle care. She walks well on a leash and is learning to trust her human companions. With a calm approach, Pebbles will gradually blossom into a wonderful companion for someone willing to give her the time and understanding she needs.
Medical Notes: Pebbles is heartworm negative, spayed, and recently underwent a veterinary assessment for a neck growth, which was drained. She also has some dental disease, a distended abdomen that may indicate possible Cushing’s disease, and a small cyst on her neck. Despite these health concerns, Pebbles is ready to find a compassionate home where she can feel safe and loved.
Pebbles will thrive in a calm, patient environment with someone who can let her take things at her own pace. Could you be the one to show Pebbles the love she’s been waiting for? Adoption fee is $225

Additional adoption info
We are a RESCUE ORGANIZATION; please complete your online Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. We require an adoption application, vet reference, and a home visit with the pet. ALL of our pets are spayed, neutered or scheduled prior to being adopted. They are UTD on shots, heartworm negative, treated or scheduled to be treated, and micro chipped. They must be kept on heartworm preventative for the rest of their lives. Our adoption fees vary. Puppies have an increased adoption fee since they need three or four sets of shots, multiple de-wormings, and other puppy needs to keep them healthy.

CPR is an animal rescue organization run solely by volunteers. Our primary goal is to save dogs from euthanization at shelters as a result of factors such as a lack of funding and space. These wonderful animals are put at risk because they have no one to claim and adopt them. We aim to give them the second chance that they so deserve. Our animals come to us from shelters around DFW and stay in foster homes where they are given the medical attention (vaccinations, surgeries, heart worm testing, etc) and care that they deserve.
