Meet Pebbles – A Gentle, Timid Soul in Search of a Patient, Loving Home
Pebbles is a 6-year-old, 14-pound Chihuahua mix with a sweet yet shy personality. While she may take time to feel comfortable, Pebbles has shown that, with patience and gentle care, she can blossom into a loving companion. She walks well on a leash and is making progress in learning to trust her human friends.
Medical Information: Pebbles is spayed, heartworm negative, and recently received a thorough veterinary assessment. She had a neck growth drained and underwent a much-needed dental cleaning. Due to a distended abdomen, bloodwork was conducted to test for Cushing’s disease. The results showed she is on the low borderline, meaning she does not currently have the condition but could develop it later in life. This can be managed with medication if it arises, and we are happy to discuss this in more detail with potential adopters.
Pebbles will thrive in a calm, patient home with someone who understands her need to adjust at her own pace. With love and care, Pebbles is sure to become a loyal and cherished companion.
Are you ready to give Pebbles the safe and compassionate home she deserves?
Adoption fee is $225

Additional adoption info
We are a RESCUE ORGANIZATION; please complete your online Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. We require an adoption application, vet reference, and a home visit with the pet. ALL of our pets are spayed, neutered or scheduled prior to being adopted. They are UTD on shots, heartworm negative, treated or scheduled to be treated, and micro chipped. They must be kept on heartworm preventative for the rest of their lives. Our adoption fees vary. Puppies have an increased adoption fee since they need three or four sets of shots, multiple de-wormings, and other puppy needs to keep them healthy.

CPR is an animal rescue organization run solely by volunteers. Our primary goal is to save dogs from euthanization at shelters as a result of factors such as a lack of funding and space. These wonderful animals are put at risk because they have no one to claim and adopt them. We aim to give them the second chance that they so deserve. Our animals come to us from shelters around DFW and stay in foster homes where they are given the medical attention (vaccinations, surgeries, heart worm testing, etc) and care that they deserve.
