My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miss Pouty Purrfection!

Meet Madame Evangeline, the queen of sweet snuggles and gentle purrs, with a pout that's nothing short of legendary. This young adult lady with her soft, medium fur and an abundance of affection is on a mission to find her forever cuddle throne.

Evangeline might have some adorable "kissy lips" right now (okay, fine, it's a couple of lip ulcers-but she makes it look fabulous!). She's working through these with grace and a gourmet-level specialty diet to keep her looking and feeling her best. Think of her as your very own glamorous supermodel on a healing spa retreat-every bit as charming as she is resilient.

Why You'll Adore Her:

Sweetheart Extraordinaire: This girl lives to love. Expect lots of head butts, purring cuddles, and looking at you like you're her whole world.

Elegant & Easygoing: She has a calm, loving nature with a soft beauty that will add a touch of class (and a sprinkle of sass) to your home.

If you're ready to add a little sweetness and a whole lot of love to your life, Evangeline is here to offer all that and more. Apply today-your new best friend is waiting!

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
