What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Odie 3 years ago, in Eureka, CA, when he was just 6 months old. He and I have been together ever since.
He is loyal, cuddly, energetic but calm, very protective, he listens fairly well, and he will follow you everywhere. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get him to be ok with cats. He can get along with other dogs if they are not super hyper and all up in his face- and he does much better with dogs his size or smaller. He loves to fetch a ball or a stick, go for long walks in the park, and he will even join you on a paddleboard! He has been my little buddy, my shadow, my cuddle bug, my protector, and he has kept me company through some hard times.
With a very heavy heart, I need to find him a good and loving home. Odie is home alone for 11 hours a day, during my work week. I no longer have the time to give him the attention he needs and I am moving at the end of the year and can not take him with me.
Maybe Odie is a good fit for you?
