It breaks my heart that I have to write this...we need to find a permanent home for my boyfriends dog. Due the hurricane completely destroying their home, we have no choice but to find him a new family. He is not dog/cat friendly as far as we know. He needs to be the only pet for now. He's totally happy being a solo dude. Besides that, he is perfect. He just sleeps, eats, and loves watching Modern Marvels when you're gone to work. Never gets into anything. Doesn't require long walks (just wants to be a potato and bake in the sun). A small fenced yard or patio would be fine. He's healthy. 6/7 years old. 85 lbs of love. He enjoys ALL people. Rarely barks. We did start training because we hoped my dog and him could cohab at some point. He was making progress, but now we don't have time, money, or a roof to keep him under. Trainer said "he's not mean just doesn't know how to interact with other animals". I don't want the sweet boy ending up in an overcrowded shelter.
