Hi everybody! I'm Emmy. Well, my name was Ambrosia when I came to the rescue, but my foster mom calls me Emmy and I like that a lot! I am just one year old, and I am full of pure puppy energy! If you are looking for a couch potato, that's not me! I love to play with other dogs, even when they don't want to play with me. I'm in the same foster home as Charm, and I LOVE her! She plays with me all the time. We love to wrestle (psst...we can be adopted together to give you a ready-made puppy family! I would love to stay with my foster sister forever! That's her with me in the picture) and play all day long. I definitely need a little playful dog buddy in my forever home either way. I would love a fenced yard to run around in, but it's not required, as I get lots of energy out running around the house, too. I love playing with toys and will steal things to play with, such as socks or my foster sister's pajamas. Once I finally tire myself out, then I love to cuddle with my foster mom. I am working on my house-training and foster mom says I am a work in progress. I have improved a lot, but I need to be given the opportunity to go outside frequently and still sometimes have an accident, so I need a home where someone is around more often than not. I'm also working on my leash manners. I'm much better than I was, but still working on figuring that darn thing out! I enjoy car rides with my pack but it upsets my tummy. My foster mom says I am curious, confident and silly and that you better be prepared for my puppy antics! I have not been tested with cats, but chances are good that I would try really hard to play with them, so depending on the cat, it might not be a good match. Due to my small size, only older, respectful kids will be considered. If you are looking for a sweet, happy, outgoing little girl, please put in an application today (and maybe consider Charm too??)

More about this rescue
We are a group of volunteers who are dedicated to the rescue, care and re-homing of Chinese Cresteds and other hairless breeds in need. We offer loving temporary homes, compassionate aid and veterinary care while working on finding the ideal permanent situation for each dog. We also work to educate the public so that there may be fewer Chinese Cresteds or other hairless breeds needing to come into rescue.
