Meet Clementine—or Clem for short! This short, stout 3 year old American Staffordshire mix is 60 pounds of pure, squishy adorableness, and let`s just say he’s a little bit of a softy. When Clem first came in, he was scared stiff—no eye contact, no walking, just total shutdown mode. But this little champ has been hard at work showing off his sweet side, and let’s be real, he`s giving `velcro dog` a whole new meaning. He’s ready to be your quiet, devoted shadow if you’ve got the patience for him!Staff favorite? You bet. And did we mention the “blep”? Yup, Clem is one of those rare gems who sits with his tongue out in a little, heart-melting `blep` that’ll have you cooing every time. He may have come in looking a little worse for wear, with a few scrapes and bruises, but thanks to our awesome vet team, Clem’s been nursed back to his best self. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DHPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), and Pyrantel (dewormer). Our adoptions are first come first serve. Adoption hours are Tue-Fri 9:30 to 5:00 and Saturday 9:30 to 3:30.

Applications are available at the Shelter after you visit the animal and decide that you're the right fit for each other.

How much does it cost?
Cats are $70 and dogs are $90, no matter the age, breed, or sex of the animal.

How do I adopt a pet?
Once you visit the shelter and select your pet, you will be asked to complete an adoption application. The application will include information about how you plan to care for your new friend, where he or she will live, what your expectations of the pet's behavior may be and whether pets already in your home are legally licensed.
If you do not own your home, we will need to contact the legal property owner to verify that you may have the pet you are interested in.
Certain animals will have specific adoption requirements in addition to the general requirements. These can include a fence check, no small kids, etc.
If your application is approved, you will be asked to complete several other forms including an adoption contract. This process takes approximately 30 minutes.
The pet you select will remain at the shelter for transport to the veterinarian for its spay/neuter surgery.
