A23171 Trixie is a black and brown with white colored, approximately 2-year-old, 53- pound, spayed female, German Shepherd mix.
She entered the shelter as a stray on 10-26-2024 and was altered by our medical staff.
Trixie is a friendly, easy to handle girl here in the shelter. Our staff says she is friendly and easily approachable in her kennel. She loves affection and going for walks. She was easy to leash, and well behaved with minimal pulling during our walks. She will need some training to be her best family member. She has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter but does bark at them as they pass her kennel. Trixie will be a fun-loving family member in her new forever home.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
